Novemberfest Fly-out
Drew
hi

anyone up for sharing the duties for a Fly-out on Sunday 30th November?

I have a Warrior booked for that day and require 2 pilots to accompany me.

Destination: decide on the day and see where the weathers playing ball.
Departing: 9am
Share the flying - Everyone can Fly a leg each.

Split the landing fee's between the 3 people flying.

Fly-outs are a lot of fun, and enable a crew to go further afield to destinations not previously visited. If each pilot pays for their leg of the journey, and we can split the landing fee's evenly too.

Idea's: Kirkwall - Oban - Dundee: or City of Derry airport - Oban - Dundee.
Tiree - Oban - Dundee: Prestwick - Carlisle - Dundee.
Inverness - Oban - Dundee.

If we intend to go to Northern Ireland we would need to complete a GAR (General Aviation report ) and send it to the Nr Ireland Police at least 24 hours in advance. this report would require information such as Passport number aswell as name, address, d.o.b etc

If your interested in attending this Flyout and Flying a leg, please let me know your intentions. If more than 3 people are interested then by all means book an aircraft at your discretion.

Hope we can all enjoy and share this Flying adventure...

morning

its all weather dependant on the day really.

It could be good viz at Dundee and fog at Kirkwall, so the best idea for these trips is to have three destinations in mind, then see what the weather / wind is forecast on the day?

I'll Pm you some ideas...
Tally Ho... !

Ill aim to be in for about 8:30 on Sunday, forecast shows no rain at least so fingers corssed.

Drew
Forecast for Sunday is a light southerly wind but there's meant to be
significant cloud, which could hamper any attempt of getting over high ground & remain Vfr.

But there's still lots of time left which could mean the weather could improve !

I hope it does Wink
Tally Ho... !
Drew.
